RuneScape was one of the pioneers, a game which is entirely focused on RuneScape gold engagement that doesn't have to be in conjunction with pleasure. It's not that they're mutually exclusive however, it's just that there are options to keep playing even when you're not having fun.
RuneScape is also one of the most efficient in what it does. I've been enjoying the fan-made documentaries, RuneScape Historical Timeline 1998 to 2020, which is about the evolution (it really has taken over all aspects of my existence) and the designers were amazed to find players hitting their maximum numbers in months, rather than years.
The highest-end accounts were available for more than 10 hours a day all day. When 2021 rolls around, I can see why. If you're a fan of the fantasy genre and the music that is atmospheric lulls you in. Everything is so basic that your mind creates the story. I think this is the reason we were hooked as kids and it's the best place for having your own fun.
However, as an adult it feels like being a second job. It's not in a negative way I'm sure. But , still, I'll be seated in front of the TV on the computer I've just used to do eight hours of my actual job, grinding away at my magic level because I've determined that my character would be a cool wizard. Then the next day, maybe I'll be able to realize my childhood dream of cheap OSRS GP owning a full set of black armour, so now I'm a knight I believe.
