Seven players upgraded to X-Factor status during the Madden 22 title update
On the 2nd of December, on Friday, EA revealed their Madden 22 title update for all gaming platforms. With the update, we have seen seven players receiving Superstar X-Factor upgrades. In the wake of Madden 22 coins the quarterbacks Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott and Josh Allen playing well for their teams this season, it's logical that they'd make the switch from Superstar X-Factor in Madden 22.
The Cardinals' Murray now has First One Free as his X-Factor ability as well as Prescott gets Blitz Radar, and Allen receives Bazooka. Three other offensive stars got the upgrade. Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp getting Tac' Em Up, Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf receiving Double Me and Washington Terry McLaurin's WR receives Ankle Breaker. In addition, Steelers defensive lineman Cameron Heyward received Cameron Heyward's Fearmonger X-Factor.
It was 2021. NFL season saw Ja'Marr chase emerge as the early frontrunner for the offensive rookie of the Year. The Madden 22 title update now showcases his talents. Chase is now one of 12 players upgraded to Superstar status in the game. Chase is now a member of Runoff Elite and Mid In Elite for his abilities.
Another starlet who is on the rise is Chargers' Justin Herbert. In his second season, Herbert keeps impressing and has led to being upgraded to buy Mut 22 coins Superstar as well. Herbert is now sporting Pass Lead Elite and Sideline Deadeye in his bag of tricks.
